Leoncio has been passionate about energy since his first encounter with it during a thermodynamics course while studying mechanical engineering. His graduation project involved the design of a solar stirling engine that would be used in marginalized communities in Mexico for electricity and heat provision. After graduation, he went on to work for General Electric as a performance engineer doing thermal tests on natural gas turbines. However, the long-term sustainability of the energy system prompted him to study a Master in Sustainable Energy Technology at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. His master thesis was about how key assumptions affect the social cost of carbon in mathematical climate policy models. Now, as a project manager at Solarplaza, Leoncio is interested in the innovations (blockchain, AI, etc) that will play a big role in the electrical grid of the future.

Marcelo is currently the CEO of Ledesma Renovables, a Buenos Aires-based renewable energy developer, whose majority shareholder is Ledesma, a publicly-listed Argentine conglomerate. Marcelo began his career in renewable energy at AES Solar (later renamed Silver Ridge Power), a joint venture between Riverstone and AES Corporation. At Silver Ridge, he was part of the deal team in all major transactions including filing an IPO at the Toronto Stock Exchange which was later replaced as an exit strategy with the sale of 50% ownership stake to SunEdison for $180 million which closed in 2014. During his five-year career with Silver Ridge Power he held key positions in finance, business development and operations, which helped him develop a comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy business. Marcelo was based in Washington DC, London, and Madrid which also helped him develop a solid understanding of the combinations of market conditions and policies that could result in attractive investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Silver Ridge Power, Marcelo worked for AES Corporation where he was part of the deal team in the acquisition of the Ohio utility DPL for $4.7 billion in 2011. Prior to AES Corporation, Marcelo was six years with Ledesma, one of the largest industrial groups in Argentina, publicly-listed, and with over 100 years of operations in Argentina. Prior to joining Ledesma, he served three years as private wealth financial advisor with Banco Santander, also based in Argentina. He was involved as co-founder of a microfinance organization in Argentina. Marcelo holds a BA in Business Administration from the Universidad Catolica Argentina, an MSc in Social Policy from the University of Bath in the UK and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was awarded the Alumni merit-based scholarship.

Esteban Pérez Andrich holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Argentina).
He has more than 10 years of experience in macroeconomic analysis and 15 years of experience in the Building sector, particularly, in the development of energy and oil and gas projects.
Nowadays, he is the National Director for Renewable Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Argentina. His main responsibility is to promote the development of high capacity renewable energy projects, as those ones to be developed under the framework of the RenovAr Program, and the projects governed by the RREE Corporate Agreements Legal Framework.

Mr. Parodi has over twenty years of experience in Corporate Finance, M&A and Private Equity and joined Total Eren in February 2017 as Managing Director for Argentina where they have been able to secure 180MW of wind and solar project that are under construction. Previously, Mr. Parodi joined Enfinity (another European renewable developer) in 2008 and was the CFO and Head of Investment where he closed equity and debt financing above USD 1.5 billion in USA, Europe and Asia.

Before joining Enfinity, Mr Parodi was responsible for Project Finance at Banco Espírito Santo de Investimento where he was more broadly focused on the infrastructure sector like hospitals, tunnels, bridges and motorways and the renewable energy sector including wind, solar and bio-fuels all around Europe, USA and Canada. Prior to BESI, Mr Parodi worked at a pharmaceutical company focused on merger and acquisitions together with the corporate business of the Group.

He started his career in Argentina, working for a Venture Capital company doing analysis and valuation of the investment projects and the development of financial forecasts, cash flow and follow up of debt level.

Mr. Parodi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from IESE (Spain), a Master in Law and Finance degree from CEMA (Argentina) and he graduated from University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) as Certified Public Auditor.

Vitor Rodrigues is Regional Manager for TÜV Rheinland's solar energy activities, in the South American region. He is a qualified factory and field inspector with over 10 years experience in the PV sector. Vitor has inspected factories in China, Europe and South Africa and PV plants worldwide. Besides this, he is teacher for a post graduate course on Renewable Energies. Vitor started his carreer at TÜV in 2006 in Portugal, starting as Junior Project Manager, eventually in the role of Business product manager Product certification. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University Of Aveiro, in Portugal.

Founder, CEO and President of LUFT Energía S.A., an Argentine renewable energy and investment company created at the beginning of 2016.
LUFT is associated with an international investment fund, based in the United States, which manages more than 13 billion dollars in assets (LUFT LATAM).
Together with the leading electricity company in Argentina, Pampa Energía, it builds a wind project (100 MW) in the province of Buenos Aires, awarded in Renovar1. Also, LUFT has a solid portfolio of solar projects.

Former Vice-President of YPF (oil and gas) Argentina’s largest company, where she led (2012-2015), public affairs, institutional relations, corporate social responsibility, labour relationships, marketing and communications. Doris also was in charge of the YPF Foundation focused on education, social and environmental sustainability.

Prior to this, she founded in 2001 two consulting firms -CAP Comunicación S.A. and Ibarómetro S.A- following the sale in 2000 of the leading national advertising agency she founded in 1983 (Capurro y Asociados) to the French multinational Publicis.

In 2017 she was the lead spokesperson for Argentina´s renewable energy process at the CERAWeek by Markit in Houston and also at AIREC in Buenos Aires.

Doris has earned during the length of her career numerous national and international awards for creativity, strategy and management. In 2015 she was chosen by the US magazine Advertising Age as one of their Women to Watch, and Citibank named her as one of the most innovative and creative women in Argentina.

Maximiliano Morrone graduated as Industrial Engineer from the Catholic University of Argentina, studied at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), and holds a Master in Renewable Energy from the National Technological University (Argentina). He also studied Strategic Marketing at the IAE Business School (Argentina). Maximiliano has 14 years of experience in the energy sector and, in recent years, has developed projects in the field of solar energy and energy efficiency.
Currently, he serves as National Director of Renewable Energy Promotion at the Undersecretariat of Renewable Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Argentina. His main responsibility is to promote the use and incorporation of different renewable energy sources to the national energy matrix. Moreover, he is in charge of defining and managing development programs, scientific and technological research, and technical studies and resource inventory in Argentina.

Oscar is Director of Institutional Relations and responsible for the Technical support of Ventus' operations. Industrial Engineer, member of the Uruguayan National Academy of Engineering since 2012.
More than 20 years of experience as UTE Generation Manager, and is one of the precursors of the installation of 1,7 GW of renewable energies in Uruguay. He currently serves as an advisor in energy aspects to Uruguayan Senate.

Alberto Cuter has been involved in renewable energy since 2008. He served as Sales Director in Phoenix Solar and Heliosphera and joined Jinko Solar in 2010. He opened the Italian branch and developed the Italian market positioning Jinko as leader modules supplier in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 he was appointed as Sales Director of Emerging Markets (LATAM and MEA). He developed and positioned Jinko as market leader in the most important market such as South Africa and Chile with more than 30% of market share, making Jinko the leader modules supplier in the region.
As per new strategy of Jinko management, in July 2015 he was appointed as a General Manager Latam and Italy to lead a team of high professional managers in 7 countries across the region. Actually Jinko has been recognized as market leader in Chile, Brazil and Central America, with more than 600 MW sold in the region.
Prior to stepping into solar PV industry, Alberto Cuter has worked in the telecommunication Industry as Sales Director in companies as Telecom Italia, Wind and Deloitte Consulting.
Alberto has an Electronic Engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and a Master in Telecommunications at SSGRR (Italy).

Fernando Sánchez have been working for Soltec since 2008. He has a Bachelor in Law and he counts with two masters degrees for ENAE Business School, an Executive MBA and a Land Planning Master. Before joined Soltec, Fernando worked in the construction sector for almost two years.
In 2008 he joined Soltec as a Business Developer for Europe countries where he took part of several projects for the company when the PV crisis broke up. In 2013 he moved to Chile as Country Manager and in 2016 he was promoted to VP of Sales LATAM. He has agreed some of the most important projects for Soltec in Brazil, Chile or México.

Werner holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master in Renewable Energy with Specialization in Wind Energy from the National Technological University. In 2008, he was awarded a scholarship by the National Ministry of Education in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of France, to participate in the ARFITEC cooperation program between Argentina and France for the training of engineers, with a stay at the Universite de Technologie de Troyes, France.
He has experience in developing and designing wind and solar energy projects in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, micro- and meso- modeling of resource, design and management of measurement campaigns, Due Diligence of wind and solar farms, financial structuring and owners engineer, engineering studies energy certification, integration of renewables to the grid, and advice to governments and private in wind and solar energy high power.
Previously, he played roles in Techint Engineering & Construction in planning industrial and energy projects.
Currently, Diego serves as Coordinator of Wind Mention in the Master in ER - UTN, Professor of Renewable Energy, ITBA, and Professor of Wind Energy in the Degree in Energy Engineering, UNSAM.
